SeeDoTeach.tv is a new medical teaching website that will be launched on October 15th 2007. The website will host free medical teaching videos and provide a platform for collaboration and discussion amongst doctors and medical students. In this article we discuss how new technologies are being incorporated into medical education. We highlight the potential of the internet in medical education and use as an example www.SeeDoTeach.tv, a website launched as a result of collaboration between Cambridge medical students and doctors in London, that strives to build a community of medical professionals who discuss, determine and disseminate best practice.
